This discussion thread is about giving and giving back. 

With the power and clout of the 700+ corporate housing & serviced apartment leaders who are part of this LinkedIn group---I wanted to see if our collective voice/ideas and actions…could make the world---a better place. No small task I know…but small steps become large strides, right? And the longest journey…begins with a single step, yes? 

And since our corporate housing & serviced apartment industry/sector is really about *shelter*, such a basic human need that is only equaled by our need for clothing and food---let’s use this discussion thread to spark ideas, stir our thinking and imagine how big we can really play/think/create & act. 

To get started, please consider these questions as you add your post below:

3. Unicef, [http://www.unicef.org/supply/index_39977.html ]. I am touched by their focus on buying mosquito nets for 23 million families in 41 countries---over the last 12 months. 

4. Red Cross, First Giving, [http://www.firstgiving.com ]. The first place to go and give---when human and natural disaster happens around the world. 

5. World Vision, Micro-Loans, [http://www.worldvisionmicro.org ]. Direct one-to-one loans that help those with micro-business ideas around the world.
